The Zurich office is Swissmem’s operational headquarters. Its staff provide Swissmem’s diverse advisory and networking services for its member companies in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. In the same building – but clearly separated – is the Swissmem compensation fund.

Member companies in French-speaking Switzerland are supported by the Lausanne branch office.

Swissmem’s vocational training school and the Swissmem Academy are located in Winterthur. Swissmem Academy also has a branch office for French-speaking Switzerland in Prilly.

In Bern, Swissmem shares meeting rooms and workstations in the "Haus der Wirtschaft" with other associations.
